Sewing around the house

Most of my new year's sewing will not leave my house, but that's okay! I've been all over organizing and just finished a new nightgown from a pattern that just might become a TNT pattern. (Simplicity 1260)

Simplicity 1214 has some great options for organizing. I made four versions of view G - one for each of my kids, plus I did the baskets from view F for my daughter.
Jamie's cat version hangs from the upper bunk (and hides some of the boy-related marks on the wall).

He was very pleased.

My high schooler is cool with Disney prints when it's like this. Unfortunately, his does not hide all the sin on the wall. (How the heck do they do that???)

Benjamin is the only one whose bed works with the pattern's original way of using it. I added ties underneath to attach it to the bed frame.

Here's a close-up of my favorite applique - Afro circus Marty from Madagascar 3.

I didn't make this, but I just had to share - how hilarious is the J'animal PJ-costume giraffe?
Here's Gracie's version - finished first. I added the ties and loops in order to hang it from her bed frame (much like I did the Cars one).

She is all about Frozen!
